The quality of picture via HDMI is fantastic. The instructions are easy to follow and quick to remember. The area in which I live is not noted for exceptional Freeview reception but I am pleased with the picture quality via this unit. I haven't used all the functions yet but can say that this is definitely worth buying. Rating: - STEVIE I BOUGHT THE UNIT ON THE FEEDBACK WHICH WAS LEFT AT AMAZON AND I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL. THE DMR 78EB-K IS BRILLIANT AT ALL THE FUNCTIONS. HARD DRIVE IS ALMOST SILENT , NOT LIKE OTHERS I COULD NAME.PICTURE QUALITY GREAT. LOADS OF RECORDING SPACE ON THE HARDDRIVE.
