If you are in any doubt as to the quality of this product compared to something like the Bose Sound-dock (I know two people with one)- DO NOT BE. The Klipsch is awesome. The only minor niggle is that it does not charge the new 4G iPod. This was confirmed by Klipsch - apparently Apple failed to notify equipment manufacturers of a change in charging protocol.
