Rating: - Buy a good book insteadWhat a let down........a book of short stories that are twee and unsatisfying. Don't waste your money. Not in the same league as most of her other books. Rating: - I loved itit is the day before Christmas Eve, and this book has really got me into the Christmas Spirit. She writes families and their complicated expectations around Christmas with her usual sharp observations, the characters are great. I think the only disappointment is that sometimes you would like to spend a little more time with the characters! VERY short stories - nothing to get to grips with and one that I put down for several days in between readings (unheard of with this author).
