Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - great horror series
From the first moment in book one, Lord Loss, when Grubbs Grady encounters the Demonata and their evil minions it is obvious to the reader that Darren Shan books are from a different dimension. You really have to read them with an open mind, and a slightly twisted one too! The heroes are constantly changing, from Grubbs in book one to Kernel Fleck in book two, back to Grubbs in three and then Bec in some of the later episodes. Whoever is in charge you can absolutely guarantee a frightening ride through ... Read More

Grubbs begins to have nightmares, ones with him covered in blood and being attacked by his late sister. But whenever he wakes up, he shrugs them aside, not ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - blood beast
I found that the blood beast was a very intresting book for the saga.It was more complicated then any of the other books because you really have to understand the charecters alot more then in any of the others. If you are a fan of shock endings you have to read this book!I think the rating says it all.The auther clearly enjoys writing this saga because of the quality of his writing.(age 10)
